Unlike hiring a traditional receptionist - which involves a monthly salary, benefits, training, and potential downtime - My AI Front Desk offers a simple subscription model with usage-based pricing.
TLDR: Most small businesses shouldn't have to worry about usage based pricing, since we give you $10 of free texting and $36 dollars of free calling every month. This equates to around 500 texts and 300 minutes. If you exceed this, you will be charged for overages.
Subscription Plans
Basic Plan

Understanding Credits
Each credit equals approximately one minute of receptionist time. We've set 1 credit = $0.12, which reflects the typical per-minute cost of a traditional receptionist.
Your credits are divided into two types:
- Free Monthly Credits: Included with your subscription (200 for Basic, 300 for Pro)
- Refresh at the start of each billing cycle
- Expire at the end of each billing cycle
- Used first before prepaid credits
- Prepaid Credits: Additional credits purchased automatically or manually
- Never expire
- Carry over to future billing cycles
- Used after free monthly credits are depleted
Texting Credits
If you're in the US, you get around 500 free text messages per month. Each additional text is around $0.02. Here is how it works:

To ensure your receptionist is always available, we offer an automatic credit recharge system:
- Default setting: Recharges 300 prepaid credits when balance falls below 100 credits
- Fully customizable:
- Set your own recharge threshold (e.g., recharge at 50 credits)
- Choose recharge amount (e.g., add 250 credits)
Example Scenario
If you have:
- Pro Plan (300 free monthly credits)
- Auto-recharge set to add 250 credits when balance reaches 50
- Current balance falls to 49 credits
Then:
- System automatically adds 250 prepaid credits
- At next billing cycle: Receive 300 new free monthly credits
- Total available: 550 credits (300 free + 250 prepaid)
Cost Per Call
- Standard rate: 1 credit (≈ $0.12) per minute
- Some AI voices may cost more or less per minute
- Voice-specific pricing is displayed in your dashboard
Credit Management
Your dashboard shows:
- Remaining free monthly credits
- Remaining prepaid credits
- Total talk time used
- Voice selection and associated costs
For most users, enabling auto-recharge eliminates the need to manually manage credits. If payment issues occur:
- You'll receive advance warning
- Repeated failed payments may suspend service until credits are replenished
